Silver Tones
The Silver tones continue to practice on Tuesdays at 1 pm in the choir room at First Methodist Church in Red Wing. Director Coleen Fowler helps the chorus fine tune their voices. The Silver Tones are currently rehearsing for a patriotic variety program planned around 9/11. New voices are always welcome. For more information call the Senior Center at 267.3599
Take and Bake Cookies
Is there anything better than the smell and taste of hot, fresh cookies from your oven? Now you can enjoy the great cookies from the Red Wing Senior Center at home? Simply stop by the Cookie Jar and place your order for the frozen cookie dough. The cost is only 35 cents each or 12 for $3. Keep the dough frozen until you're ready and then bake at 325 degrees for 16-19 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. How easy is that?

In addition to having a great cup of coffee and a warm chewy cookie at the Senior Center, you can also purchase wonderful hand crafted items in the Gift Shop.
More than 30 crafters, artists, seam stresses and woodworkers have brought in their items to sell on consignment. You'll find kitchen towels, beaded jewelry, children's sweaters, quilted runners, appliqued tote bags, wood carvings, fleece blankets and much, much more!
